Hey Paul, Welcome to the forum! I came across your site a couple of months ago and I like it. I love seeing people giving honest opinions (especially people in the 'hunting industry') about gear, hunting shows and the like. Good stuff!.....and no, I'm not just sucking up so you don't rip me a new one in a review

Hey guys - I'd like to share one of the coolest and most informative deer websites I've ever found on the web. It's http://www.deerchannel.com/ This site comes from a deer study facility that has strapped wireless video cameras to the antlers of a few bucks that allows them to study deer habits like never before.

It's filled with some AMAZING information. I've learned a LOT of stuff that you'd just never learn otherwise. I've learned things like deer like to browse on poison ivy, thistle plants and I even saw a doe submerge her nose in a pond and come up with a mouthful of aquatic vegetation. I had no idea.

Another amazing thing I learned is that even while on a dead run, deer keep their heads almost perfectly level and still - they have footage of bucks running full-out through the woods yet the camera remains quite still! Some of the footage is amazing!

They also have James "Dr. Deer" Kroll to explain countless deer facts and answer your emails. Trust me when I tell you that this site is awesome! I know it sounds like I'm "promoting it" a bit heavily, but I KNOW you guys are gonna love this site too! Check it out and let me know whatcha think!
