I waited seven weeks for these head to come in and found them well worth the wait. They are Piston Points. When the head is in the closed position they are only.55 inches in diameter but when they hit the point drives the blades out to a 1.5 inch diameter with three blades of pure distruction. On opening season here in central Florida I took my first of the season, a doe, she went all of 25' yards with a blood trail that a blind could follow, you could almost see daylight through her. The entrance hole was ,or seemed to be, larger than the exit hole and still had energy to bury itself 6" into the ground and no damage to the head.
The blades are alittle bit of a pain in the butt to sharpen but sharpen up very well. The biggest downfall is thier price, but I still say they are worth it.
the heads can be seen a www.pistonpoint.com :D :D :D :D :D

I've heard pros and cons concerning this broadhead... I wish you luck with it, and if you harvest game with it please post pictures of the animal and wound area both enterance and exit.

bump.

PistonPoints have been acquired by TrophyRidge and remarketed under the name "UnderTaker". Will Primos and company have jumped on the (band?) wagon. I'm interested to see what the Huntin' Junky crowd thinks of these broadheads.

Have you used 'em? Results?

Be sure to check out the head, I read that they lock into place and could be considered a barbed head which are illegal in some states. Just a head's up.
